Do I need to be religious to come?
No. Chabad MU welcomes Jewish students of every background and level of observance. You can learn, ask questions, or simply enjoy being with friends.
How do I hear about upcoming programs and sign up?
Enroll through the Chabad on Campus app or text 732-338-0773 for events & signup. You’ll hear about upcoming dinners, classes, trips, and holiday programs. Dates and registration are shared as each program approaches.
The holiday section shows what we offer throughout the year. Check the student portal for current events and open registration.
Why are there two text numbers?
Events & signup connects you to the Chabad on Campus chatbot for campus life and registration. Quiz only is for the Monmouth Quiz, which runs here on our own website with its own text service. Save the contacts as “Chabad MU — Events” and “Chabad MU — Quiz.”
When quiz texting launches, reply to a quiz in the quiz text conversation. Use the events conversation to sign up for Chabad activities. Joining either service does not subscribe you to the other.
Can I play the quiz in the campus app?
Play the Monmouth Quiz here on this website. The Chabad on Campus app and chatbot handle campus programs; the quiz has its own web and text experience. Quiz texting is coming soon.
I’m a new student. Where should I start?
